Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Parts Inventory Associate to maintain all parts areas and daily inventory, assist in ordering supplies and equipment, and ensure accurate records. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and operating a Bob Cat/case loader and forklift.

Excellent attendance and the ability to work across shifts are essential. Responsibilities include barcoding, stocking, and organizing parts, handling paperwork, and keeping the supply area clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• Excellent attendance.
• Computer skills required.
• Knowledge of how to use parts catalogs.
• Able to operate calculator for simple math.
• Must be able to climb 1–2 flights of stairs frequently.
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Operate Bob Cat/case loader and forklift.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Bar coding parts and shelving with accurate inventory.
• Ordering and receiving parts and equipment.
• Maintaining clean and orderly supply areas.
• Completing paperwork daily.
• Keeping parts areas neat and designated.
• Bar coding and labeling parts upon arrival.
• Arranging and storing parts in proper bins.
• Ordering parts and ensuring stock in correct locations.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with month-end reports.
• Counting and maintaining boiler fuel inventory and other critical items for Production.
