Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Pallet Jack Operator for the 2nd shift. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and operates a pallet jack to support production lines, with duties including labeling, staging, and material handling.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of work experience, and the ability to stand, bend, lift, and twist. The position is full-time and nonexempt, with benefits and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist.
• Must be able and available to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting loads using a pallet jack as assigned by manager/supervisor, verifies/matches labels and production contents.
• Load raw materials into dumper (by PO/Kill Date requested by Lead/Supervisor/Machine Operator) to correct line
• Remove product from line “Weigh”
• Assure product is properly labeled, covered, and stretched wrapped before removing from area
• Assure pallet is not damaged, is free of chicken or broken boards of finished goods
• Place all finished goods in a bin in SAP
• Cleaning of floor to assure Sanitation gets started promptly
• Write issues to be sent to production
• Stage product for production lines or department to department
• Responsible of operating the pallet jack under its maximum weight allowed by OEM
• Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following Production Safety Employee relations
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client
