Job summary

ST Engineering in the United States is seeking an entry-level paint prep technician responsible for prepping units for painting, including stripping, sanding, washing, masking, and following instructions to meet quality standards.

This role trains on 1st Shift and transfers to 2nd Shift (target January 2027); must use safety equipment and maintain a clean work area while supporting 5S practices and cross-training as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Entry level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

1. Physical fitness to perform all functions of designated work areas. This includes small tool use, full arm and leg range of motion, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and work in awkward positions, talking and hearing.
2. Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25#, frequently lift and/or move up to 35# and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70#.
3. Respiratory protection, as required.
