Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Packer/Handler for the 2nd shift in Muscatine, IA. You will visually inspect containers and lids to ensure quality and packaging safety while keeping up with production lines.

You will install gaskets and handles, label products, assist with material handling, and help with cleanup during downtime. The role requires English reading/writing and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with possible weekend/holiday overtime based on production needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality; set aside nonconforming items.
• Install gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required; keep up with production cycles.
• Flame containers and lids when required and stack/pack per customer instructions.
• Prepare product identification and packaging labels; assist with material handling as needed.
• Clean up during machine downtime and complete paperwork as required.
