Job summary

Apache Mills, Inc. in Calhoun, GA is hiring for a Packers 2nd shift to join our Operations Team. This full-time position provides a steady schedule on the 2nd shift, with hours 3:30 pm – 2:00 am Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays.

You will perform packaging and material handling tasks, label and package products, print SKU labels, fill production forms, and help teammates while maintaining safety and quality standards. We offer health insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or products.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift startups and end of shift duties as needed.
• Spot and remove defective mats.
• Label and package product correctly; ensure tag positions are accurate.
• Load machines, print and apply pack SKU labels.
• Fill out production forms and maintain accurate totals.
• Help team members and follow procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and attend drug and background screenings.
