Job summary

Trinidad Benham Corporation in Mineola, TX seeks a Machine Operator for 2nd shift to efficiently run packaging machinery and meet customer specifications. Shift is Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am with a $1 p/hr differential. You will read production schedules, set up equipment, and perform quality checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills with touch screens.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must meet daily production requirements.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with all levels.
• Effective communication with coworkers and management.
• Flexibility to accommodate overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery according to specifications.
• Read daily production schedule and ensure material requirements.
• Transport required packaging materials to production area.
• Set up and operate equipment for each order; stack finished product as needed.
• Meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and document results (end seals, date codes).
• Change over product varieties; follow guidelines and report issues.
• Complete documentation on product, materials, output and downtime.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate with maintenance.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance and keep work area clean.
