Job summary

The Gill Corporation in El Monte, CA is seeking a Packer/Shipper I to assemble pallets, label and pack panels, cores or other materials for shipping. This full-time position reports to the Shipping Manager and requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and read shipping instructions.

Responsibilities include assembling wooden skids, generating accurate shipping labels, packing finished products, and keeping the work area clean. 1–2 years of related experience and basic PC/ERP skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read and understand all company documents.
• Basic PC skills and ERP system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assembles wooden skids using tools and materials per packaging codes.
• Generates and verifies shipping labels and documents.
• Packs products into boxes or drums and applies labels for shipping.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and follows instructions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
