Compact Industries, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Line Operator to lead and oversee the operation of our packaging line, ensuring maximum efficiency and product quality.

You will read product specs, start machines, monitor performance, and address malfunctions with rapid, effective adjustments. Joining our women/family-owned team, you’ll train Packers and Stackers, coordinate workflows, and help sustain safety, HACCP and GMP standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts across the

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Compact’s finished product specifications to manufacture and package a quality product.
• Start machine and observe operation to detect malfunctions and perform minor adjustments.
• Direct, train, and correct behaviors of Packers and Stackers on the production line.
• Run equipment at designed rates, troubleshoot problems and reduce downtime.
• Provide break relief for Packers and Stackers and oversee rework as needed.
• Monitor checkweigher and metal detectors for proper operation.
