Job summary

Palermo’s is seeking a Packaging Operator (2nd Shift) to keep pizza production lines running safely and efficiently. You will operate and monitor packaging equipment, ensure quality, and work with a dedicated team across our West Milwaukee facility.

Responsibilities include setup, changeovers, labeling checks, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining accurate production records. Prior packaging experience is preferred; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience a plus.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment to keep lines running.
• Set up packaging machinery and perform changeovers.
• Inspect packaged products for labeling, sealing and quality.
• Identify and report equipment issues to maintenance or leadership.
• Record operating information and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to hit daily goals.
