Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group in Fort Wayne, IN, seeks a maintenance technician for 2nd shift. You will clean parts, perform PM tasks, change packaging drums, and help prep production for upcoming jobs.

You will troubleshoot equipment, work with operators and maintenance, and participate in safety programs and team meetings. Must lift 50 lbs, have basic math and good English communication. Starting pay is $19 per hour with productivity bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, comprehend and communicate in English; basic math.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs continuously.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• 2nd Shift Fort Wayne schedule: 3:15 pm–1:45 am, Mon-Thu.

Responsibilities

• Tear down parts to clean and rebuild.
• Clean and rebuild; change drums on packaging equipment and fix machinery.
• Prepare production for upcoming jobs and assist maintenance with daily tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate with machine operators, line leads, and maintenance.
• Organize, clean, and switch change parts as needed; work with others.
