Fresh Express is hiring a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (4:15 PM until finish) to independently operate assigned packaging machines. The role requires strict adherence to SOPs, GMPs, safety and quality standards, with emphasis on machine setup, changeovers, and documentation.

The operator will inspect codes, dates, leaks and seals, perform safety testing, and support process improvements while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and know basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, simple formulas, and conversions.
• Must take a written test to demonstrate proficiency.
• Must be able to accurately track downtime and performance indicators.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English at work-instruction level.
• Must adhere to GMP's and PPE's.

Responsabilités

• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
• Comply with SOPs, GMPs, Housekeeping, Safety and FE policies.
• Inspect settings for codes, dates, leaks, oxygen levels and seals.
• Complete safety, food safety, and production documentation as required.
• Participate in process improvement projects or new product testing.
• Report equipment malfunctions to PMO, floor coordinator or supervisor.
• Remain aware of safety and quality; keep work area clean and safe.
• Set up multiple machines for startup and production; adjust as needed.
• Assist other lines and cross-train; support teammates and goals.
