Job summary

Kao EMEA & Americas, located in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Shift Manager for packaging operations. In this role, you will ensure compliance with safety and FDA regulations while managing personnel effectively. You will also be responsible for training compliance and continuous operational improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Business Management, along with strong leadership skills and experience in a manufacturing environment. Competitive salary and benefits offered including healthcare and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a packaging setting.
• 2+ years in personnel administration.
• 1+ year as Packaging or Project Engineer (preferred).
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned shift packaging operations and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Evaluate current operations and suggest improvements.
• Audit and update Standard Operating Procedures as required.
• Complete training compliance for the packaging team.
