Elkhart Plastics, a Myers Industries company, is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (4:30pm–3:00am, Mon–Thu) to run molding equipment to quality standards.

Position offers $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 differential and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, English literacy, and the ability to operate and maintain industrial equipment in a hot, loud environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
• Willingness to work in a hot, loud manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and tools are ready before starting work.
• Review setup sheets prior to each job.
• Maintain molding equipment and staging processes.
• Complete projects by due dates and meet production targets.
• Operate molding equipment using designated methods and safety rules.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
