Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group is seeking an Outbound Supervisor for Indianapolis, IN on the 2nd shift. You will lead a team to ensure orders are picked, sorted, and loaded for next-day delivery, while managing daily labor, costs, and continuous process improvements.

The role emphasizes workforce development, safety, and cross-functional collaboration in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Qualifications

At least three years of warehouse or logistics experience.
Experience supervising employees or leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Excel.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and motivate employees.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience handling perishable products is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop a team of employees, establishing performance expectations and accountability.
Oversee outbound order fulfillment for next-day delivery.
Manage daily labor planning, workload forecasting, and staffing to meet production needs.
Monitor performance, identify efficiency gains, and control costs.
Provide training, tools, coaching, and feedback to achieve goals.
Develop Work Leaders and support succession planning.
Coordinate with other supervisors and departments to meet company objectives.
