Job summary

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Operator A in the LMATT department at our Riverside, CA manufacturing plant.

This role is responsible for the safe operation of equipment used to manufacture components and finished products per the daily production schedule. You will work in a production environment with exposure to temperature changes and loud noise, maintain a clean and safe workspace, perform quality checks, and input data into the SAP system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Forklift certification required.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Read/complete labeling processes and maintain safe, organized work area.
• Operate machinery per customer specs and production schedule.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specs.
• Monitor downtime and input data into SAP.
• Assist with inventory and maintain safety standards.
