Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team on the floor, responsible for safety, production, quality, attendance and employee performance. This hands-on role oversees 10-20 employees, driving daily KPIs, solving operational issues, and managing corrective actions to ensure production goals are met.

The position offers pay dependent on experience, with shifts on either 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am, and is based in Hampton, VA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
• Automotive industry or Investment casting experience.
• High-volume manufacturing background.
• Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting mindset.
• Experience handling time and attendance for their team.
• Experience managing production, safety, quality, and productivity metrics.

This is a hands-on floor leadership role overseeing an average of 10-20 employees, driving daily KPIs, solving operational issues, managing corrective actions, and ensuring production goals are met. The pay for this role is dependent on experience and the interview but falls within $90-95k. This role is either 2nd ("2pm-10pm") or 3rd shift ("10pm-6pm").
