Job summary

GXO is seeking a Senior Operations Manager in the United States to oversee daily operations of a national returns processing and outbound packing within a multi-channel distribution center. The role requires guiding a team, managing performance, and ensuring safety and quality.

You will drive Lean initiatives, monitor KPIs, coordinate maintenance, and optimize inventory control. A background in logistics, ISO/AS9100 exposure, and bilingual English/Spanish are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and handheld scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Experience in warehousing or 3PL.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, coach and train warehouse staff; improve performance as needed.
• Oversee equipment and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Handle inventory control processes.
• Drive quality operations using Lean methodologies.
• Create and monitor KPIs; lead the organization to meet targets.
• Ensure picking and putaway activities meet operational needs.
• Lead the team to support value-added service and outbound packing.
• Initiate and lead safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale projects.
