Job summary

Apollopros is seeking a Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Support for the Phoenix, AZ area on a 2nd shift contract basis. The role involves handling materials, counting inventory, packing and shipping, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, counting with scales, recording transactions, and assisting with BOM-driven orders. Onsite work with daily operations and potential cross-functional support. U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling and packaging equipment.
• Identify parts, components, wires, and other materials using markings, color codes, and labels.
• Follow desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, and work instructions.
• Perform bulk counting using scales and tape-and-reel counters.
• Fill orders according to BOM requirements.
• Package parts using proper packaging materials.
• Follow proper material handling and packaging techniques to prevent damage.
• Store, shelve, and place inventory according to established procedures.
• Use computer systems and printers to record inventory transactions, generate labels, and charge labor.
• Assist with generating Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reject tags.
• Conduct cycle counts and record results.
• Support the customer service window and process basic material requisitions.
• Track materials both physically and within systems.
• Receive, inspect, count, and process incoming materials; elevate discrepancies for resolution.
• Package and ship materials according to shipping instructions.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Receive and distribute materials to internal plant locations.
• Build and break down boxes.
• Collect and properly dispose of materials.
• Maintain packaging supply levels and replenish as needed.
• Recognize and help resolve inventory discrepancies and work area issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Train other employees and perform other assigned duties.
