Job summary

ABB in Jonesboro, Arkansas is hiring for an onsite position with 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. You will adapt to changing priorities, meet production standards, and move materials through various stages of the process.

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Jonesboro, Arkansas

This position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities (different machine, team, product) orvolume
  • Able to meet and run standards
  • Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrels
  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the role:
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months related experience / training or combination
  • Able to read and comprehend safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
  • Able to present information to individuals/groups/clients by reports or correspondence
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, use fractions, decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent into bar graphs
