Job summary

Danfoss in Forest City, NC is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift to install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires NEC knowledge, blueprint reading, welding, and the ability to fabricate improvements; growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are provided. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and the required industrial experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Industrial mechanical/electrical experience, minimum five (5) years or Associates Degree, plus three (3) years experience.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must be local – no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems per NEC regulations.
• Reads blueprints, manuals, and diagrams to complete tasks efficiently.
• Repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems; fabricates devices to improve equipment.
• Performs Arc, TIG, and MIG welding and oxy-acetylene cutting.
• Uses machine tools for turning, drilling, threading, and reaming; operates lifts.
• Utilizes Maintenance Work Order software to document work.
