Philips is seeking a Mechanic on the 2nd shift at our Latham, NY facility to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components for MRI systems using power tools, while adhering to safety and ESD protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience in light industrial or home improvement, with ability to read technical drawings and work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams; onsite full-time role with 2nd shift.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with light industrial or home improvement work is preferred.
• Experience with soldering, wiring, fabrication or in a general warehouse setting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain handheld and bench-mounted power tools to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components for MRI systems while following safety and ESD protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret technical drawings, perform precise assemblies, and document tool usage and maintenance to ensure compliance with medical-device manufacturing standards.
