Keystone Distinction Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Tool Repair Technician (Mold Maker) to provide tool building and repair support, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety.

The role requires extensive mold making/repair experience, the ability to read tooling prints and diagrams, and hands-on skills with mold tooling and overhead cranes; the position emphasizes preventive maintenance and problem solving in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with plastic injection molds.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in mold making/repair.
• Ability to read tooling prints and electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience operating machinery including an overhead crane.
• Own toolbox with mold making and repair tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools in optimal operating condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Perform minor engineering changes and repairs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing tools.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of tool repairs and changes.
