Job summary

Tyler Union is seeking skilled Mechanical Millwrights for 2nd shift at our Anniston, AL facility. Starting pay is $30.54/hr with a strong benefits package and 401(k).

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong knowledge of mechanical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance. Drug screens and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in a technical field or related training.
• Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read measurements and use precision instruments.
• Knowledge of machines, tools and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety program and report deviations to management.
• Align machines using hand tools, measuring devices and fixtures.
• Assemble and install equipment with hand and power tools.
• Lay out mounting holes and drill holes for bedplates and frames.
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers and carts.
• Replace defective parts and adjust alignments as needed.
