Responsibilities

• Handling milling tasks and operating mills as assigned
• Signoff sheets completion and accuracy
• Report non-conforming material promptly
• Report maintenance problems in a timely manner
• Milling of parts to specifications
• Perform first piece inspections and verification

Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Education or Certification)

• High school graduate
• Two (2) year vocational school
• One (1) year previous milling experience

Minimum Physical Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to load/unload parts with a hoist
• Must be able to move parts using pallet lifter

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year experience on milling machines or a high school graduate with six (6) months experience on milling machines
• Familiar with safety rules and procedures
• Familiar with departmental procedures
• Setup and operation of equipment
• Must be able to read and write in English
