Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Mill Maintenance Technician in Shippensburg, PA to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mill equipment, and maintain maintenance records. The role requires a strong mechanical background, ability to work at heights, and basic electrical/plumbing/pneumatic/welding skills.

You will be part of a safety-conscious team with opportunities for on-call duties, site travel, and career development within a growing agricultural services

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General mechanical background.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in high places.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, welding and millwright skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on mill equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems.
• Maintain accurate records of inventories and completed maintenance.
• Communicate and work effectively with all team members.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
• Function as the on-call maintenance for the mill.
• Travel to other mills for preventive maintenance.
• Understand, utilize, and navigate the Wenger System.
• Adhere to Wenger policies, methods, and disciplines.
