Job summary

Technical Rubber Company, Inc. in Kentucky seeks a Mill and Calendar Operator I to run and monitor milling and calendaring equipment in the Fabrication department.

You will set up machinery, adjust settings, inspect materials, and ensure output meets quality specifications while adhering to safety procedures. This is an extremely physical, labor-intensive role requiring the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, stand long hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Operate milling and calendaring equipment to prepare patch materials.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturing specifications during production.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality standards.
• Record production data including material usage and output.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust mill and calendar machinery per production needs.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust processes as required.
• Supply various departments with materials to produce patches and repairs.
• Operate multiple machines (clickers, chopper, mills, calendar, slitter, injection presses).
• Cut rubber with trimmers/knives and take precise measurements.
