Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect robotic welds for quality, placement, and completeness.
• Identify porosity, missed welds, undercut, burn-through, and other defects.
• Perform manual MIG weld repairs and touch-ups.
• Load or position components in robotic welding fixtures.
• Monitor automated weld cycles and report equipment concerns.
• Remove spatter and complete basic weld finishing.
• Follow part specifications and quality requirements.
• Separate or document nonconforming components.
• Maintain welding equipment and an organized work area.
• Follow automotive manufacturing and welding safety requirements.
