Job summary

APX is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented MIG Welder for the 2nd shift to support our fabrication shop operations in Greencastle. This role involves welding and assembling metal components based on specifications and production needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a minimum of 2 years' MIG welding experience, and a strong ability to read blueprints. Competitive compensation package including healthcare and 401(k) is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Perform MIG welding primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless‑steel sheet metal components.
• Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter.
