APX is a metal fabrication leader seeking a dependable MIG Welder to support our fabrication shop operations. This role focuses on welding and assembling metal components to specifications in a fast-paced environment.

Read blueprints, set up MIG processes, and ensure weld quality using grinders and measuring tools. Safety and teamwork are essential as we deliver precision enclosures and fabricated parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Perform MIG welding, primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless‑steel sheet metal components.
