Job summary

Amprod LLC in Strafford, MO is seeking a Class B MIG Welder for 2nd shift to join a growing manufacturing team. You will MIG weld doors, sills, handles and tanks, read blueprints and measure parts to ensure quality, and rotate across Cell 5 welding positions.

The role offers competitive pay with a $2/hour shift differential, a Monday-Thursday schedule (3:30 PM–1:30 AM), and opportunities for hands-on training and career growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience or trade school training.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Dependability and consistent attendance.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on doors, sills, handles, tanks, and stainless components.
• Complete tack welding, grinding, and finishing work.
• Rotate across Cell 5 welding positions (welding, tacking, stud, and bung welding).
• Read and interpret blueprints and part lists for accurate fabrication.
• Use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements.
• Operate shop tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements.
• Meet production goals and attendance expectations.
