Job summary

Thyssenkrupp on the warehouse floor seeks a Material Handler for 2nd shift to process metal to customer orders per work order specs and maintain a safe, clean work area. You will operate cranes and forklifts, verify product against specs, and record measurements while following setup notes and writing entries accurately.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write, lift up to 40 lbs, basic math, and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per work order specifications.
• Record measurements and maintain accurate setup notes.
• Enter/delete material identification tags as written.
• Assist in packaging of material per work instructions.
• Maintain and inspect measurement equipment and weighing scales.
• Identify and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and product quality.
