Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking an entry-level Entry-Level Utility Worker to support metal manufacturing operations in a safety-conscious environment. The role focuses on safe equipment operation, material handling, quality adherence, and teamwork on second shift (M-Th 2:30pm-12:30am) with a 12% shift premium.

Responsibilities include PPE usage, forklift/crane tasks, blueprints interpretation, and data entry in SAP/Workday systems, with a broad benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required for the role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic computer skills including email and Workday.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow PPE and safety protocols; use PPE correctly.
• Operate forklifts; perform crane pre-use inspections.
• Perform crane rigging and use slings safely.
• Machine guarding and basic maintenance.
• Operate chop saws, grinders, drills; finishing tasks.
• Handle materials safely: labeling, inventory, cycles.
• Interpret blueprints to ensure quality; data entry for tracking.
