Job summary

Atkore International is looking for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in New Bedford, MA, to operate and inspect metal forming machines. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, experience in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

You will ensure production materials are available, operate machinery, maintain quality standards, and adhere to safety procedures. Benefits include medical, vision, dental insurance, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noises and extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Ensure production materials are available.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
