Job summary

AGC Glass Company North America in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a 2nd shift General Maintenance technician to rapidly respond to equipment calls and perform repair, rebuild, calibration, installation, and setup of facilities/utilities equipment.

You will inspect, monitor, repair, replace, reinstall, and test facility systems, with planned PM work during shutdowns and weekends to maximize uptime. Daily CMMS readings and reports are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-to-four-year Technical Degree preferred
• 3–5 years with facility and utilities equipment preferred
• Demonstrated safety, strong work ethic, professionalism, and problem-solving ability
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude; PLC familiarity preferred
• Knowledge of building automation controls and programming

Responsibilities

• Rapid response to equipment calls to minimize downtime
• Repair, rebuild, calibrate, install, set up, and maintain facilities/utilities equipment
• Inspection, monitoring, repair/replacement, reinstallation, and testing of facility systems
• Planned PM work on shutdowns and weekends to optimize uptime
• Daily readings and report generation in CMMS
