Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift at our Northumberland, PA facility. You will perform maintenance repairs, troubleshoot equipment, and support our food production and labeling operations.

This role requires completing work orders for planned projects and addressing breakdowns, working well in both team and individual settings. Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of related mechanical experience, with welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related mechanical experience with welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and with management to coordinate parts.

Responsibilities

• Install and service equipment for production lines.
• Diagnose mechanical problems including bearings, drives, hydraulics, and piping.
• Provide recommendations for equipment modifications and improvements.
• Coordinate with purchasing to source necessary parts and support teams.
