Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role reports to the manufacturing supervisor and involves assembling, installing, aligning, and fitting subassemblies in an industrial setting with supervision.

Hours are M-F, 3pm-11:30pm, with a training period of 8am-4:30pm. We offer a robust Total Rewards package including a base pay of $15.83–$20.24 per hour, a 10% shift differential, annual bonus opportunities, 401(k) match, stock contributions, tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Basic written/verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Eagerness and optimism for work activities.
• Detail orientation and ability to follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test subassemblies per work instructions.
• Install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts using required tools.
• Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per instructions.
• Follow instructions to become certified for tasks.
• Work with close tolerances and fits to meet requirements.
• Complete QA paperwork accurately and efficiently.
