Qualifications

• Trade school plus 1-2 years experience in machine repair or equivalent.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Read schematics and prints.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Perform simple machine setups for Bindery and Insert lines.
• Read job recaps and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Clean machines and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain production standards and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform PM on machines as necessary and contribute to PM planning.
• Replace small parts as needed (e.g., cutters, belts).
• Respond to machine problems during shift and perform minor repairs.
• Use MicroMain system for repairs/parts and related paperwork.
• Move to other areas as directed by supervision.
• Comply with company rules and confidentiality requirements.
