Dalmine SPA in Brookfield, OH is seeking a Mechanic / Electric Technician to support the Maintenance department on the 2nd shift. The role involves performing inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing autonomous repairs to maintain safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include performing mechanical and electrical repairs, analyzing root causes, monitoring PLC alarms, and updating maintenance systems with detailed reports.

• Follows up repairs to ensure effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanic or electric inspections, diagnosis, repairs and replacements autonomously.
• Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
• Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root cause and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
• Performs mechanic and electric activities such as electrical engines repairs and circuit analysis, PLC programs loading, equipment alignments or low voltage panel replacements.
• Monitors alarms in PLC cycle.
• Interprets electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Carries out crane inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Disassembles and assembles mechanical components.
• Executes maintenance plans.
• Carries out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control autonomously.
• Executes machine lock outs and tag outs.
• Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
• Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
• Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
