Job summary

Tyson Foods in Concordia, MO is hiring for General Production Pack on 2nd shift (4:30 pm – 1:00 am) with mandatory overtime and a $1 shift differential. You will handle bone-in ham and other cooked meat products, standing for long periods, with heavy lifting and repetitive motions across a fast-paced production line.

The role involves operating labeling and weighing equipment, product handling on conveyors, and palletizing, in a cool environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Orientation classes required for all new hires; schedule may vary.

Responsibilities

• Bone In Ham - work with cooked meat products (ham).
• Repetitive hand, arm and shoulder movement; stand on concrete all day (8-12 hrs).
• Lift boxes weighing 30-60 lbs each.
• Operate ink jet printer to label products on conveyer belt.
• Pre-price: weigh product, apply label, return to conveyer belt at 40 PPM.
• Strip casing/netting using knife/cutter at 10 PPM.
• Rack and hang rack product, feed production line (15-35 lbs).
• Push/pull to roll metal racks (800-2000 lbs) with assistance.
• Box and bag product into containers on a 40 PPM line.
• Paletlist and transport full boxes via conveyor; operate forklifts as needed.
• Work in cool, damp temps (35-50°F).
