Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a team-oriented individual for 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) at our Chicago area plant. The role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations, improving productivity, reducing downtime and waste, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass background/drug tests, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
