Job summary

Boeing is seeking a material support associate in Wichita, KS, working a 2nd shift to ensure timely delivery of products and to assist operations across the Spirit AeroSystems facility. You will move materials, operate CMMS, and support multiple crafts in maintaining plant equipment and records.

The role requires operating various machinery, following safety guidelines, and communicating with management and external shipping personnel. A CDL and forklift/industrial vehicle experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet shift requirements.
• Experience operating industrial vehicles (forklifts, tractors, tow vehicles) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move materials (raw materials, tools, parts, equipment) to support production.
• Enter and retrieve data in the CMMS to assign daily/weekly work.
• Coordinate customer work requests with management using trouble-call systems.
• Operate motive equipment of various sizes, including mobile cranes.
• Inspect hardware/tools for damage and route anything obsolete for disposition.
• Operate information systems required to perform tasks and ensure proper protection of parts and equipment.
• Load/unload air cargo as needed and report unsafe conditions.
