Verst Logistics, a family-owned company in Northern Kentucky, seeks a forklift operator to load/unload trucks and railcars and move materials within the warehouse. The role requires forklift operation experience and a certification upon hire, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Operate an electric or propane powered forklift to load and unload trucks or railcars and move raw materials and finished goods to a designated area within the warehouse. Assist in custodian duties throughout the warehouse as assigned.
Forklift Operator Marginal Functions:
Job Specifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
2. Must acquire forklift certification upon hire; 3-5 years prior experience operating a forklift, preferred
3. Basic reading and math skills
4. Must be computer literate
5. Demonstrated problem solving abilities and attention to detail
6. Previous experience in an Automotive Distribution environment, preferred
7. Previous experience with Continuous Improvement Plans and Lean Manufacturing techniques, preferred
8. Familiarity with SOX Compliance Requirements and OSHA Regulations
9. Familiarity with SDS/Hazmat Safety preferred
10. Must be able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately
11. Frequently bending, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs. safely as required
12. Good hand/eye coordination and motor skills
13. Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed due to customer requirements
