Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Michigan is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping operations.

You will operate powered industrial equipment, follow SOPs, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The role requires standing most of the shift, attention to safety, and teamwork to ensure timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license or 1 year forklift experience.
• Able to work 40 hours/week with possible overtime.
• Complete core skills within 30 days; basic computer use, math, reading.
• Values safety, teamwork, quality and following SOPs.
• Able to stand for most of the shift with breaks every 2 hours.
• Vision/hearing and coordination suitable for label reading and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and organizing incoming product.
• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Loading trucks for outbound shipments.
• Operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks).

Scope of the Role

In this role, you’ll help warehouse and distribution operations by:

Role requires working around potential allergens: omeprazole, esomeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, rabeprazole, famotidine, loratadine, guaifenesin, ibuprofen, naproxen, nicotine, natural flavorings.

• Receiving and organizing incoming product
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Loading trucks for outbound shipments
• Operating Powered Industrial Equipment (e.g., forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks)
• Performing physical tasks including repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, and moving materials
• Working safely and accurately in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

Experience/Qualifications

• High School diploma (or G.E.D.); excellent attendance and work history
• Valid driver’s license or at least 1 year of motorized forklift/Hilo driving experience (other driving experience may be considered)
• Ability to work 40 hours/week with overtime when necessary; available to train on other shifts
• Complete core skills within 1 month (30 days); basic computer (point & click, training systems), basic math, reading/comprehension
• Values safety, teamwork, quality, and attention to detail; follows direction and standard operating procedures
• Ability to stand the length of the shift with breaks every 2 hours (~85% standing)
• See/hear/understand labels and instructions; vision meets driver’s license requirements; if no license, vision/physical requirements will be evaluated; eye/hand/feet coordination

Physical/Environmental

• Lift 60 lbs.; pull/push 60 lbs.; stoop/bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, move items/boxes
• Rarely climb stairs; exposure to loud noises/machinery
