Tennant Company in Louisville, KY is seeking an Intermediate Material Handler to operate forklifts and move materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This 2nd shift role (2:30pm–11pm) supports accurate material handling, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety standards while offering opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous process improvements. The position is on site with full benefits and growth potential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years related experience as a Material Handler.
• Competent in the operation of a fork truck.
• Previous experience in SAP, RF Device, and Warehouse Management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate powered forklift trucks, hoists, handcarts, and other material handling equipment.
• Use production paperwork to locate, deliver and place materials in a warehouse environment.
• Maintain equipment in good operating order, following power industrial equipment guidelines and completing start-of-shift inspection checklist.
• Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized.
• Identify problems or potential safety hazards and recommends resolutions.
• Mentor and train entry-level Material Handlers within their scope of responsibilities.
• Perform warehouse transactions.
• Focus on continuous improvements of material handling processes.
