Job summary

Donaldson in Nicholasville, KY is seeking a Material Handler on 2nd shift to move, organize, and locate sheet-metal parts in collaboration with Industrial Solutions Machines.

This onsite role runs Monday-Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Key duties include using RF scanners, reading route sheets and blueprints, and safely performing material handling while following all EHS policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate forklifts of various makes and models.
• Strong communication for interdepartmental efficiency.
• Experience managing multiple tasks during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Work and drive safely, observing all EHS rules.
• Process paperwork such as route sheets, picklists, etc.
• Read, understand, and utilize route sheets, picklists and blueprints.
• Operate an RF Scanner to locate parts.
• Organize parts by job order per work instructions.
• Be a self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Material Handling and Transportation of Product.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Use designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Engage in DPS continuous improvement and kaizen events.
• Work scheduled overtime hours.
• Assist other departments as assigned.
