Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Material Handler: Plate for the second shift in Park City, Kansas. You will move materials and finished goods using a forklift and other equipment, following safety and ISO 6S guidelines.

The role involves loading, unloading, packaging, and basic counting tasks. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs., basic math skills, and English literacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English (French in Quebec).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using forklift.
• Select and package products for orders; load/unload trucks.
• Perform cycle counts and identify defective material.
• Inspect forklift at start of shift and report issues.
• Follow health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
