Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for our York, PA Recycling Plant on 2nd shift (2:48 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

The starting pay is $20.60/hour plus $2.00/hour shift differential, with weekly pay and benefits from day one. This role requires safe operation of forklifts, material handling, inventory management, and collaboration with production teams to ensure a high-quality, defect-free product.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load production lines with appropriate raw materials as instructed by the supervisor.
• Maintain current and accurate raw material inventory.
• Unload materials from trailers and complete paperwork and weight calculations.
• Store finished goods and manage warehouse organization.
• Receive parts and supplies and secure packing documents.
• Keep work area clean and train fellow employees as requested.
