Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Material Handler I - Loader for 2nd shift in Sunnyvale, TX. Operates forklifts to load/unload finished goods and supports packing, receiving, putaway, and shipping processes across a busy warehouse environment.

You will work Monday through Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, with responsibilities that include order picking, receiving, putaway, SPC checks, and safe, efficient operation of powered industrial trucks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience.
• Six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Opens crates and inspects product.
• Applies labels to product according to procedures.
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location.
• Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse.
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.
• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping.
• Labels boxes with packing slip.
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt.
• Verifies orders for accuracy.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
