Job summary

Perrigo is hiring for a 2nd shift Material Handler in Allegan, MI to operate Powered Industrial Equipment across distribution operations. You will receive and organize product, pick orders, and load trucks, supporting safe and efficient order fulfillment.

This hands-on role requires a High School diploma or GED, valid driver's license or forklift experience, ability to stand 85% of the shift, and willingness to train on other shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver’s license or at least 1 year of forklift/Hilo driving experience.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime availability.
• Basic computer skills; point & click; navigate computer-based training systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize incoming product.
• Pick and prepare customer orders.
• Load trucks for outbound shipments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks).
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and moving materials.
• Maintain safety, accuracy and teamwork on a fast-paced shift.
