Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift experience ideally in a metal fabrication shop.

• Previous experience with moving large metal objects.
• Previous experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or follows instructions to ascertain materials to move.
• Loads and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Operates forklift and other devices to move materials within the plant and yard.
• May operate industrial trucks or hoists to assist in loading/moving products.
• Fills out a daily forklift inspection before starting work.
• Supports 6S housekeeping and safety standards in the plant.
